Quay

The words “quay” and “key” can be easily confused as they are homonyms. “Quay” is a noun which denotes an area in which boats can be tied up in order to offload or take on goods.
Key
Exemple : ‘’I have lost the key to my front door.’’
“Key” is a noun used to denote the item used in order to open a lock. It can also be used as an adjective to express that something is of great importance.
