Sale or Sail?
Your choice!
Sale
Exemple : ‘’The sale was too good to miss out on!’’
“Sale” and “sail” are homonymes which can cause them to be mixed up. “Sale” is a noun either denoting the act of selling something or a special offer when something is for sale at a reduced price.
Sail
Exemple : ‘’I want to sail round the world on a yacht.’’
“Sail” is used as both a verb and a noun. As a verb it means to travel in a boat without an engine. As a noun it is used to mean the material attached on a pole on a boat which is used to catch the wind and thus make the boat move.
