To make an internship or To do an internship?
To do an internship
Exemple : ‘’I am going to do an internship at a law firm.’’
A common mistake made by non-native English speakers that is a result of confusion between the verbs "to do" and "to make." This is because in many other European languages there is one verb which is used for both of these. However in English they are separate and "to do" is the correct verb to use in terms of employment, internships or traineeships.
