Hear or Listen ?
Your choice!
Hear
Exemple : ‘’I can't hear what you are saying!’’
The verbs "hear" and "listen" are often confused. "Hear" is used to simply denote the act of sound entering into our ears.
Listen
Exemple : ‘’If you take the time to listen to what I am saying that might help.’’
"Listen" denotes the act of not just hearing these sounds but taking them in and actively trying to hear the sound.
