Airplane

The word "airplane" is written differently depending on what version of English is being used. "Airplane" is the spelling preferred in American English although it is becoming more common in British English now too.
Aeroplane
Exemple : ‘’I went in an aeroplane for the first time last year.’’
Traditionally, British and Australian English prefers the spelling "aeroplane" although this is changing. This spelling is never found in American English.
