Foreword
Exemple : ‘’The foreword to the novel was very interesting.’’
"Foreword" and "forward" are often mixed up as they are pronounced in a similar way. A "foreward" is a small section at the beginning of a novel which is often written by someone other than the author in order to give praise to the novel.
Forward
Exemple : ‘’It is important to always look forward rather than back.’’
The word "forward" is used to denote the opposite direction to backwards. In this context it can be used as both a noun and an adjective. In other circumstances it can be used as a verb in order to denote the action of sending something which has been received on to someone else.
