The words "passed" and "past" are often mixed up. "Passed' is the past tense of the verb "to pass" as well as the past participle.
Past
Exemple : ‘’I drove past your house today but you weren't in!’’
"Past" has a number of different uses. It can be used as a noun, adjective, preposition or adverb. It conveys the idea of something which has already happened or which is in a position further than something else.
