Exemple : ‘’There are five apples in the fruit bowl.’’
"There" and 'their' are commonly confused although they are used in differing situations. "There" is used to refer to a place or in the set expression "there is/are."
Their
Exemple : ‘’The books are in their bags.’’
"Their" is the possessive form which indicates belonging to "them". It is only used when something is owned by a group of at least two people.
