Wait
Exemple : ‘’I will wait here for you!’’
The verbs "wait" and "await" are often confused. "Wait" is used to denote the act of staying in one place for something which is expected to happen.
Await
Exemple : ‘’I will await your response.’’
"Await" refers to the act of looking forward to the occurence of something which is fairly likely to happen.
